“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest” – Benjamin Franklin
Even better, if that investment is no charge, bonus!
Today I came across a learning opportunity that I just don't believe I didn't see before today. NETACAD.COM
This is training offered by Cisco at no cost that covers the following topics:
-Networking -OS&IT -Programming - Internet of Things -Infrastructure Automation -Cybersecurity -Packet Tracer
Each of these topics is broken down into online self-paced or instructor-led courses.
Under Networking, I found Networking Essentials, CCNA: Intro to Networks, CCNA: Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials and CCNA: Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation.
I reviewed the courses and this will be a nice supplement to my daily studies. The game plan is to take the Networking Essentials to compliment my study for the CompTIA Network+. In a few weeks, I will begin working on the three other CCNA instructor-led classes while preparing for the CompTIA Network+ certification by the end of this month. Then, it is full throttle to CCNA training by October. That is the short term goal.
Tomorrow I will post my training plan for my path to CCNA. There will be a little wiggle room to supplement it with other skills, as you will see. It's getting exciting around here. Very motivated.
